Advantages and disadvantages of LED optics

Ultra-thin lens, the thickness is small but the optical efficiency is low, about 70%~80%.

2

TIR lens (total internal reflection lens) has thick thickness and high optical efficiency, up to about 90%.

3

The optical efficiency of Fresnel lens is as high as 90%, which can leave plenty of space for structural design to dissipate heat, but the edge of the light spot is prone to faint concentric circles.

4

The lattice-shaped mirror reflector has uniform light mixing, it is difficult to control the glare, and it is easier to produce secondary glare.

5

The smooth mirror reflector has a good texture and can control glare better, but it is difficult to mix the light evenly.

7

Textured glass has a light transmittance of about 90%, but it is more prone to secondary glare.

8

The diffuser plate is light in material and has different light transmittance options. The light transmittance is only about 60%~85%, which is prone to secondary glare.
